MIXED MEDIA

Children awaken and marvel at many artistic techniques adapted to their age: drawing (pencils, charcoal, pastels…), ecoline, watercolor, oil painting, pigments, Chinese ink, different printing techniques, modeling (clay), collages… We have small groups (10-12 children), creating a concentrated and relaxed atmosphere. At almost every session, children and teenagers discover new techniques, new materials, new aspects of artistic and plastic creation. We take each child on their creative path. Everything is proposed, nothing is imposed. The teachers hold a Master’s degree and are multilingual, the courses are given in Fr/Eng.

COMIC STRIP

We are also offering a COMIC STRIP class. Your children will learn storytelling techniques, how to create a character, make it move, apply the rules of shadow and light, the laws of framing and perspective… Your kids will acquire as many tools as they need to express their world. Cours de dessin à Bruxelles . Drawing Classes in Brussels

REALISTIC DRAWING

This course is tailored to teach pencil drawing techniques to your children. They will master the materials: soft and hard pencils, the different erasers, how to blend… We will show them the techniques to reproduce faithfully textures, reflections, plays of light & shadow, transparencies, volumes… On program : flowers, portrait/self-portrait, still lifes, animals, various objects… Personal projects are welcome (for art schools applications f.i)

These multilingual art stages are organized in half-days camps, 3h in the morning or in the afternoon. The price is 175€, all materials included.

The courses are open to kids (from 5 to 9 years old), teens (from 10 to 18 years old) and adults. Adults might be grouped together with teenagers.

We will focus on creativity, enthusiasm, and curiosity. Each group will work at its own level. The TEENS/ADULTS will focus on drawing techniques, engraving techniques, collages, paintings, bookmaking… The KIDS will be encouraged to explore their artistic potential and creativity through drawing, painting, clay modeling, and collage. We will work about the seasons and themes close to nature together.

Your children will be guided by professionally trained and multilingual artists from Belgium and other countries. All our teachers have a Master Degree in the Arts. Classes are given in English and French, the atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. Learning is focused on self-acceptance and the development of personal expression that allows you to be connected with others. Every child will be encouraged to explore its creative potential.

CARNIVAL STAGE 2025

Carnival will be present as a theme (masks, costumes, dolls…) amongst other themes. Your children will be in contact with lots of techniques described above : chinese inks, different kind of painting techniques, printing techniques, drawing techniques, some clay, etc…

Our Mixed Media stages are also open for adults : we will discover numerous techniques and experiment with different subjects (pastels portraits, charcoals landscapes, painting knife technique, among others …)

You choose a morning (9-12 hr) or an afternoon (14-17 hr) stage, as well as a group: kids (5-9 years old) or teens (10-18 years old).

 SUMMER STAGES 2024

As since 28 years now, our Summer-stage-programm will offer a wide variety of techniques for kids, teens and recently adults. This MIXED MEDIA stages offers the opportunity to explore lots of fields in painting, drawing, sculpting, printing and designing techniques. Each morning from 9 to 12hr or each afternoon from 14 to 17hr you or your kids will be guided by professionnally trained artists, all with a Master degree, all english/french spoken.
You choose a group in the morning (9-12 hr) or in the afternoon (14-17 hr). Children = 5-9 years old, Teenagers = 10-18 years old or Adults.
Depending on the number of registrations, teens and adults might be together.

Our Mixed Media stages are also open for adults : we will discover numerous techniques and experiment with different subjects (pastels portraits, charcoals landscapes, painting knife technique, among others …)

During one week, each group will work very creatively on different topics: portraiture, landscapes, graphic explorations, modelling,… 

We also offer a COMIC STRIP& ILLUSTRATION workshop with. This workshop will allow your children, from 9 to 16 years old, to learn comicbook and illustration methods. They will create a character and its universe and learn some perspective and composition skills that will allow them one or many projects!

Atelier d'art à Bruxelles - cours de peinture pour adultes

You choose a morning (9-12 hr) or an afternoon course (14-17 hr), as well as a group: child (5-9 years old), teenager (10-18 years old) or adult. Adults might be merged with the teenagers depending of the inscriptions.

As usual, a lot of different techniques will be discovered: painting, sculpture, engraving, drawing, etc. Of course, we will have the pleasure of exploring the Halloween theme.
